It is almost that time of year again. The Houston Hotties will be having their annual auction. Every year we hold a silent auction to raise money for our library and our scholarships for the Gathering. We are lucky enough to have some great vendors who support us and great members who come and buy all the goodies.This years auction will be held on May 20, 2012. Curious what we are doing at our next meeting? Well come on by and find out. We will be doing a Valentine's Day Challenge. We'll be posting pictures of the beads on the blog so everyone will get a chance to drool over them. We'll have a goodie give away for all paid members and a great raffle prize. We look forward to seeing you guys there.

Beadroller Wall Mount

The Houston Hotties held their first meeting of the new year on January 8, 2012. We discussed what we had planned for the upcoming year. Thirteen people attending including a guest. Our meeting was held at Sharyln's home. Thank you so much Sharlyn, you have a beautiful home and we all loved seeing your studio.
Our Raffle prizes for this meeting were from CG Beads.Check out her site at http://www.cgbeads.com

How our Raffle works is we buy raffle prizes from Vendors who have supported us. We then sell tickets to the members and we do a drawing. This meeting we were luck enough to start the
year with these three great items. The money from the raffle goes to purchase the next months
goodie give away and the raffle prize.

Small Drum Trio

The winners of this months Raffle were Diane W. who won the Beadroller Wall Mount, Martha B. who won the Small Drum Trio Beadroller, and Lori T who won the Project Tray. Congratulations to all the winners.

Project Tray

January regular monthly meeting planned

Our first meeting of the new year will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2 pm. We will be discussing the plans for the upcoming year, Beads of Courage, ISGB info, library, doing a bead cleaning demo and showing acceptable and non acceptable beads for BOC.
We will have a CG bead roller and a CG bead roller rack for the 2 raffle prizes. There will be no goodie giveaway at this meeting since we will be collecting dues. Then we will know for February who the paid members are.
Please remember to bring your library items back.
We will need some door prizes and refreshments.
